Facebook “Account Unavailable due to site maintenance”
415For a site that currently has an Alexa traffic ranking of 5, this is pretty dumb. It’s almost as bad as the sporadic errors on myspace. Site maintenance? Really? At 10:45am on a Tuesday? Come’on.. give me a break. Facebook is one of the busiest sites on the net and you disable my account for “a few hours” in the middle of the day? I’d expect they would be able to release code with a “flip of the switch”. If not, I’d expect downtime to be scheduled and during times of minimal traffic.

face book, I cant log in either, 11 sept 11, yet my husband can log into his, states as above. about site maintenance, never had this before. just great. cant reply to my messages left.
I haven’t been able to get on my facebook . My mom logged on and clicked on my name and it says “Users account is temperarily unavailable, please TRy again later.” Well i’ve been trying for the past hour. and it’s pissin me the hell off. I haven’t been able to get on since Friday at 8 P.M. Any other suggestions? It’d be appreciated. I’m not a Facebook addict. It just pisses me off I haven’t done jack . and i can’t get in my account ? I still get my facebook texts sent to my phone. but i can’t log in?

this happeend to me about 7 hours ago and and i’m still getting the message. and i dont get what people mean about multiple accounts? i live with 3 other people using the same computer with different accounts? thats not fair.

Have got the error that facebook is closed down for maintance. This has been over 12 hours it says just a few hours.

i think everybody should look at how they are acting to this problem. and just look at all the inappropriate words circulating this comment thread i think it is very unnecessary. cussing does not get the point across any better not does putting little *** marks make it not a cussword or any better
I am having the same problem as EVERYONE here for the past posts…came on to see of anyone had a solution to my problem. As of 10 PM on 10/10.11, FB says temp. shut down for service, try again in a few minutes. It’s now been 6.5 hours! I can’t even log on with a different name, through a different server or anything. My daughter’s facebook is working fine which makes me worry! The one thing that calme me down is one time when my account WAS hacked and shut down, I received an email from FB…so far, no email…so I figure, no email, all is ok…and it will be back up eventually…hopefully?…please?
